Iloilo City in Visayas is best known for its Spanish and colonial churches and old houses. These building stand as if frozen in time and yet functions and blends in the modern Iloilo. It is one of the reason why visitors flock this city in the tip of Panay Island. It was my second time to visit Iloilo and this time I was with my friends who flew in from Cagayan De Oro City to Iloilo for a few days of touring around the city. We stayed at Madison Hotel located right in the center of the city proper.

Madison Hotel in Iloilo City
The room we stayed at was clean and spacious. It has two queen size beds with ample of floor area to not bump to each other. It has a TV with cable settings and a desk that you can can work on or use as a vanity table.
The internet connection in the hotel was fairly fast. Unfortunately, it was not performing well in the room we were in. I suggest you request a room near the router for a faster internet connection.

This hotel in Iloilo City also caters conferences, functions and events. It can get fully booked when a national conference is scheduled in the city or if there is an event held in the hotel itself. Since it is also fairly affordable, it is one of the hotel favourites for those who frequent the the city. It is best you book online or call ahead to reserve and secure your room.
The rest room is clean and spacious with its neutral and light interiors. They have hot and cold shower and a bidet for the toilet. They also give complimentary bath essentials if you forgot to bring yours with you.

Breakfast & Meals
There is a complimentary breakfast when you check in. The serving size is decent and you might opt to order another dish if you prefer a heavier breakfast. My default breakfast was the Bangus or Milkfish for breakfast. It already comes with coffee or hot chocolate drink along with it.
