SIARGAO ISLAND TRAVEL GUIDE | How To Get There, Places To See, & More

How To Get To Siargao Island

Siargao island is off the northeastern side of Mindanao isolated along with the islets surrounding it. It is accessible via air and sea.

Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and Sky Jet have regular commercial flights from Manila and Cebu to Sayak Airport at Siargao. The airport runway limits the aircrafts it can cater thus only small aircraft fly in and out of the airport and limited travellers every flight. The geographic location with strong Pacific winds makes it challenging as well.

It is also accessible via sea with a ferry from Surigao City in Mindanao to Siargao Island. You can fly in to Cagayan de Oro or Davao City and take a bus bound for Surigao City to take the ferry or an outrigger boat (bangka).
